We had a great trip. The campground was well-maintained and quiet. The setting was beautiful and we loved the accessibility to Calgary. We were also with a few friends and loved the campground design that allowed easy sharing of sites.
My new fave in kananaskis country, I'm looking to have quads! Cant wait for next year!
Such a great day picnic location! Very well maintained. Great for a day outing.
A lovely place to spend a Saturday. Plenty of parking space. Close by we took advantage of a picnic table in a nice shady spot surrounded by trees. Public washrooms were available, well maintained and pretty cleanA little stroll took us to a lovely little pond where people were passing the time fishing and where little nooks could easily be found giving some privy to those who preferred it. The pond is stocked with trout and judging by the keepnets some of the fisherpeople had been successful.Dogs are allowed but must be kept on leash. We brought a ground anchor and cable and this, together with some walks around the pond served to keep our pooches happy.When we left our batteries definitely felt recharged. Recommended.
No privacy...was hoping for a little seclusion, but your neighbour is right there, so you can see each other clearly and hear their conversations. Wish they added a divider at least. Loud teens walking about. The land they gave us was very narrow, like the size of a small road. It was tiny. And they charge you extra for a third tent...you should charge people for more land, not tents, in my opinion. The toilets do not flush and are very smelly. I added an extra star because the good thing about this place was the very tall trees, which i liked, and the area was clean and organized.
